Hey guys,
Just joined and uploaded a few images and a video (which I've deleted).
Basically, I was hoping you'd be unlike the rest of the hosting sites, and not convert the video into a lesser quality.
As it was, the video was viewable as a flash version, which degraded the quality - is there no way you can enable the site to make use of the .mov format, so those of us with Macs or Quicktime plug-in installed in Windows, can view the video at its best quality?

Maybe that would require making the site html5 compliant or accepting m4v/mp4 formats?
Not exactly a bad thing though, insofar as videos are concerned, especially with the h264 codec squeezing the file size down without dropping much in quality.

We are currently considering implementing MP4 format as you are right, it delivers better quality for similar bandwidth and by now, must users have a flash player that supports it.

Just joined, also in the hope that uploaded mp4 videos would retain some decent quality. Sadly, the mp4 I have just uploaded is no better that other sites.
As your comment about mp4s in dated two years ago, what has happened to prevent you from improving the quality?

Most of us have used ingenious ways to watch the videos without break by pausing the video and waiting for it to buffer fully.
